Measuring
A well-fitting suit or shirt begins with the tape, the measuring tape.
We take our measuring very seriously.
We take as many measurements as necessary to give you the best possible fit. We also take pictures to further clarify any potential fit issues. We don't take another tailor's measurements, and neither should you. As we just said, it all starts with the tape.
JEANS
Recently we took a poll asking guys what the most important article of clothing was in their closet during these covid influenced workdays.
Hands down the winner was jeans.
Not just any old jeans but jeans that are dressier than your old Levis but not as dressy as a pair of basic wool slacks.
We realize that guys don't come to a custom clothier for a regular pair of Levi's so we make custom-made jeans. You pick the fabric, fit, and style. We help create a great-fitting pair of 5-pocket pants. This time the pants may have a little stretch to them, and come in corduroy, cotton and cashmere, denim, or even stretch wool. Jeans are back, but not as you would've expected.

We keep you involved in the process. You choose the style, fit, cut, fabric, buttons, stitching, and have multiple options for lining and embroidery to ensure your custom suit embodies your personal style. With a Wayne Edwards custom-made suit, you will appreciate the end results.
TRUE CUSTOM SHIRTS
We offer two levels of workmanship for our custom shirts:
"Wayne Edwards" and "Platinum."
While both levels offer true custom-made shirts, only our "Platinum" level is made using old-school artisan techniques. Each pattern is drawn and cut by hand, with all mother-of-pearl buttons, and all single needle stitching.
Before we begin to make your custom shirts, we ask the question "How would you like your shirts to fit?" We then proceed to take over 16 different measurements as well as take photos to pass along to the master cutter.
We pride ourselves on our fabric selection. We offer a wide range of fabrics from our opening-level fabrics to the finest Swiss cotton in the world. For a great customer experience, one should try our custom-made shirts.
CUSTOM SPORTSWEAR, SWEATERS, POLO
It's how we dress for today. Although we still dress our "tailoring holdouts' it seems that the dressy casual look is pervasive. It's at the peak of popularity. What we've witnessed over the years is a total luxuriation of casual apparel. We've seen hoodies that were typically made up in cotton fleece now being made up in everything from soft supple cotton to 100% cashmere, and cashmere blends. Jersey knit fabrics that were typically used for sweaters now are being used for soft unconstructed sports jackets.
Let's not forget the ubiquitous sneaker. What was once used only for athletics endeavors is now being used to complete an outfit that includes a suit. Keep in mind this time it is made up of luxe calfskin leather and lasted on a real shoe last, not cemented.
The menswear industry must remain relevant to its audience. In doing so, styles, fabrics, and construction methods must all change The good news is that we now are capable of making custom sweaters polos, joggers, and more. Times have changed and we change too.

The right shoe can take an outfit from looking old and dowdy to looking sharp and modern.
To that end, we know how to take a classic style and tweak it a little so that it remains elegant but not staid. We take the time to balance out the right leather/suede and combine it with the ideal sole. As you'll see, our shoes have a classic feel to them yet look fresh at the same time.
